Mayor Bradley
Nothing could be more wrong than to suggest Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley has “isolated” his administration (July 15) or has “a communications problem.”
Mayor Bradley has the ear of officeholders in Sacramento, as well as elsewhere in the nation, and he is in touch with us on matters of mutual concern.
The mayor’s standing is one of respect, in part, because he uses his political clout sparingly. As a result, when he does telephone to seek advice or assistance, it is apparent he has important issues to discuss. We do whatever we are able to respond to his needs and concerns, as he does for ours.
WILLIE L. BROWN JR.
