Iran-Contra Hearings Look Inside the Administration
Sen. Orrin Hatch’s (R-Utah) analogy of beating the dead horse regarding the prolongation of the hearings is an interesting one--however it worries me. I for one do not believe the truth is being actively sought in these hearings and am willing to wait however long it takes until it is revealed.
The only ones beating the horse as far as I’m concerned are those testifying and those spoon feeding (like Senator Hatch) who are doing their damnedest to justify the violation of the law and the U.S. Constitution. I don’t want to hear why these criminals did what they did; I simply want to know exactly what they did--without all the other baggage.
