National Health Care Reports Dip in Net Income
National Health Care Systems Inc. of Irvine said its first quarter net income dipped by 37% to $21,359 from $34,162 in the comparable period last year. Revenues for the period totaled $927,830, a 12% decline from $1.05 million.
The company said the drop for the quarter reflects the sale late last year of two of its dental centers, whose revenues were incorporated into its 1986 results. Revenues for the first quarter of this year, however, were based solely on its prepaid dental benefit plans.
