1,500 Students Start Law Day Sessions
About 1,500 high school students clutching red, white and blue balloons gathered on the lawn of City Hall on Saturday morning to kick off a series of Law Day workshops.
Topics at the 17th annual Law Day seminars held at the Superior Court building downtown included teen suicide, AIDS, the homeless, gangs, immigration reform, the sanctuary movement and South African apartheid.
