Mayor’s Open Door Policy: Newly elected Mayor Holly Veale has announced that she will hold open office hours at City Hall before each City Council meeting. Veale, 38, a former planning commissioner, said she would make herself available to meet with residents between 4 and 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of every month. Council meetings begin at 7 p.m.
