Body Found in Gutted Building
The body of an unidentified young man was found today on the fourth floor of an abandoned building in Little Tokyo that was gutted overnight by a spectacular fire. Seven Los Angeles Fire Department units remained at the scene to put out the small pockets of fire still burning more than 15 hours after the blaze struck the five-story building at 2nd and Los Angeles streets. The fire broke out at 8:10 p.m. and was controlled 90 minutes later.
