Edward F. Gotschall, 30, of Irvine has been hired as senior vice president and corporate controller at Pacific Savings Bank in Costa Mesa, and Paul Tuan, 41, of Cerritos has joined the S&L; as vice president and chief planning officer, a new position. Gotschall had been vice president and controller of Security Pacific International Finance Inc. in San Diego. He replaces Roy Painter, who resigned. Tuan was a vice president of planning at First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles.
