Ramona Crash Kills Motorcyclist
RAMONA — An 18-year-old San Diego man was killed when he failed to halt at a stop sign and drove his motorcycle into the path of a pickup truck, the California Highway Patrol reported Sunday.
Louis D. Fox, an unemployed security guard, was declared dead at the scene of the collision about 6 p.m. Saturday, authorities said. Fox was headed east on Mussey Grade Road when he collided with the truck, which was headed north on California 67.
Authorities said minor injuries were suffered by the driver of the pickup and the driver of a third vehicle which the truck swerved into after hitting the motorcycle.
