Local News in Brief : Operation Kid Print to Visit Thousand Oaks
Parents of children under age 17 can have their children’s fingerprints recorded at the Operation Kid Print station sponsored by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and 7-Eleven food stores, on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Janss Mall in Thousand Oaks.
The fingerprint cards, which will be retained by parents, can be used to trace a missing child.
The free fingerprinting will be done from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheriff’s mobile command post, which will be parked under the mall’s marquee at the corner of Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive.
