4 best hotel yoga classes with a view in Las Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — Yoga aficionados don’t give up their daily routine when visiting Las Vegas.
Now visitors have ways to breathe in and out, stretch and stay fit, even while on vacation. Here are four yoga classes found up and down the Strip. Added bonus: They all come with a killer view.
Meditate with the dolphins at the Mirage. An underwater classroom with windows looking into the dolphin pool at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat is the setting for this class that has guests moving from downward dog to warrior pose.
And, yes, the creatures will peek in. The hour-long class costs $50 and includes yoga mat, smoothie after the class and a day pass to the spa.
Make it an early morning of yoga on the plaza at the Monte Carlo.
Hotel guests head out to the area in front of the resort on Las Vegas Boulevard to take classes from Alicia Goldsmith. The 60-minute class at 8 a.m. Saturdays includes mats, towels, bottled and cucumber water.
Go for that lotus pose poolside with yoga at the pool at the MGM Grand. Every skill level can take part in these free classes at 8 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as long as they’re hotel guests. Again, no excuses since the yoga mats, water and towels are provided.
Head up to take a yoga class with a view of the Strip from the eighth-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows at Mandarin Oriental’s yoga studio. Vinyasa flow takes place daily from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and is free for hotel guests and $35 for the public.
