Football: West Torrance grad Steve Sarkisian pumps up players
Sarkisian reminds players that lasting memories will be created
The guest speaker at Monday’s Southern Section championship luncheon was USC Coach Steve Sarkisian, who reminded players that he’s a proud West Torrance High grad from the class of 1992.
“I still pull for the Warriors every chance I get,” he said.
It was the third luncheon Sarkisian has spoken at, and he always reminds everyone where he came from.
His message was a good one. Playing in championship games this weekend will create lasting memories.
