Marion “Suge†Knight’s recent court appearances have been more like medical dramas.

On Friday, an attorney for the former rap mogul requested that he receive private medical treatment after multiple collapses in the courtroom. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge denied the request.

Knight, 49, has been in custody since January, when he is accused of running over two men with his truck at Tam’s Burgers in Compton. Terry Carter, 55, died, and Cle “Bone†Sloan, 51, was injured. Knight has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge in connection with Carter’s death.

Knight was hospitalized twice in February after court appearances. He was rushed to the hospital and treated for stomach-related medical issues, one of Knight’s attorneys said.

In March, Knight was taken to a jail infirmary after saying in court that he couldn’t “really comprehend†what was happening.

“I can’t really see,†he said in court, wearing eyeglasses. “I can’t really comprehend what’s going on.â€

The Death Row Records co-founder complained about how much weight he’d lost in jail, saying he’d shed about 30 pounds.

Later that month, he collapsed in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom after a judge set his bail at $25 million in his murder case. Knight crumpled and was briefly unconscious in court before receiving treatment at a jail hospital. Before his collapse during that hearing, his shoulder twitched, and he appeared to tense up.

On Friday, a judge also denied a request by Knight’s attorney to reduce his bail from $10 million.
