Busy Philipps welcomes a baby daughter, her second

Busy Philipps welcomed her second baby girl on Tuesday, and boy does the two-time mom have a minimalist’s way with words.

“So this happened ...� the 33-year-old said Wednesday on Twitter, captioning a lovely black-and-white photo of herself cradling her newborn. Daddy is screenwriter Marc Silverstein.

“Everyone is healthy and happy,� the “Cougar Town� star’s rep told People, adding that baby girl weighed in at 8½ pounds.

The new tot, whose name has not been announced, joins big sis Birdie Leigh, 4.

And in the spirit of mom’s message, we’re keeping this post minimal.
