Billy Joel, girlfriend Alexis Roderick have a baby on the way
It’s been 29 years since Billy Joel welcomed a baby into the world -- but he’s getting ready to do it again.
The “Piano Man” singer is expecting a child with girlfriend Alexis Roderick this summer, a rep told Us Weekly, and a source told People that it’s a girl.
Joel, 65, and Roderick, 33, have been dating since 2009 after meeting at a restaurant, according to the New York Daily News. “We were friends for a while before we started dating,” she told the paper in 2010.

The singer-songwriter, who’s been married and divorced three times, is already father to Alexa Ray Joel, 29, his daughter with second wife Christie Brinkley. The mom-to-be is, according to People, an equestrian and former Morgan Stanley exec.
