Tom Cruise vehicle ‘Oblivion’ is the week’s best-selling DVD

The science fiction movie “Oblivion,” starring Tom Cruise, soared to the top of the DVD and Blu-ray disc sales chart in its first week in release. The dystopian drama, directed by Joseph Kosinski, had a strong box-office showing in April despite mixed reviews.
“G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” the action movie featuring Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum, held the No. 1 spot among rentals in its second week.
Here are the top titles for the week that ended Aug. 10 for sales and Aug. 11 for rentals, according to Rentrak.
