Finding no takers at her previous asking price of $8.995 million, pop superstar Britney Spears has lowered the price for her home in Thousand Oaks by $1 million. The renovated spread on more than an acre in the Lake Sherwood community now lists for $7.995 million.

Built in 2010, the Spanish-style house has arched front doors that open to a sprawling 8,500 square feet on a single story.

A great room, a home theater, a game room, two offices and a family room with a glass-enclosed wine cellar are among the living areas. An oversized chef’s kitchen has two marble-topped islands.

A lavish master suite features his and hers bathrooms complete with steam showers and walk-in closets. There are five bedrooms and seven bathrooms between the children, guest and master wings.

Sliding glass doors at the back of the house open to a covered patio and outdoor living room. A swimming pool has been updated with a beach entry and a waterfall feature.

There’s also a seven-car garage.

Spears bought the property four years ago from former hockey player Russ Courtnall and his wife, actress Paris Vaughan, for an undisclosed price.

Last year, she bought another estate in Thousand Oaks for $7.1 million. The Italian villa-style home of about 12,500 square feet sits on 21 acres in a gated enclave originally developed by actors Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis.

Spears, 34, is one of the bestselling singers of all time, according to the Recording Industry Assn. of America. Her eight albums include “... Baby One More Time†(1999) and “Britney Jean†(2013).
