James Bond and the Boy From Oz are coming to Broadway.
Daniel Craig, the latest cinematic Bond, and Tony winner Hugh Jackman will star in “A Steady Rain,” a Chicago police drama opening in September, the producers announced Thursday.
Previews for Keith Huff’s two-character play begin Sept. 10 at the 1,079-seat Schoenfeld Theatre. Opening night is scheduled for Sept. 29.
Craig, 41, played James Bond in the two most recent 007 films and has extensive stage credits in London. “Rain” will mark his Broadway debut. Jackman, 40, who portrayed Wolverine in the “X-Men” franchise, won a Tony in 2004 for his portrayal of Peter Allen in “The Boy From Oz.”
