The Other Side of the Story on Illegal Immigration
The L.A. Times, including your magazine, seems to be engaged in a deliberate campaign to turn America into a Third World country by means of immigration, legal or illegal (“Banned in the U.S.A.,” by Celeste Fremon, Sept. 18). You present an endless stream of stories about poor immigrants who are being treated harshly by mean-spirited, “racist” American immigration laws. Have you ever done an article on the hundreds of thousands of Americans, including legal immigrants, who have been robbed, raped and murdered by illegal aliens or legal immigrants who have been career criminals? I assure you, such people far outnumber the unjustly persecuted immigrants.
