What would I do if I made $60 million a year? Anything I wanted to! In other words, I’d do exactly what Katie Couric is doing -- everything I’d always dreamed of doing [“When Katie Met Jeff,” by Matea Gold, June 20]. Face it, folks: Katie is now 48 and she doesn’t need our permission (never did) to change her hairstyle, wear sexy shoes or anything else she feels like doing. As long as she continues to be a good co-anchor on the “Today” show, that’s all she owes us, the viewers.
