On the move: “60 Minutes Wednesday,” already slated for cancellation this fall, will spend its final months in a different time slot. Beginning July 8, the CBS newsmagazine will air Fridays at 8 p.m., a move that will see it revert to its original title, “60 Minutes II.”

Closing notice: The Broadway revival of “On Golden Pond” will close Sunday because its 74-year-old star, James Earl Jones, who is recuperating from pneumonia, can’t return to the production next week, the producers said Thursday. It had been scheduled to run through Labor Day.
