Court Upholds Chen’s Victory in 2004 Election
Taiwan’s Supreme Court rejected an appeal by two opposition parties seeking to invalidate Chen Shui-bian’s victory in the 2004 presidential election.

The judge said he had seen no such proof. He also rejected the contention that voters had been swayed by election-eve manipulation and intimidation.
