Ticketed while in LAX’s Lot ‘C’
When my wife and I traveled out of LAX, we made a point of parking in the LAX-owned lots. Although the LAX shuttle service is sometimes slow, I preferred that the city, not a private parking lot owner, get my parking fees. Not anymore.
After returning from a trip recently, we returned to the “C” lot to find a parking citation on our windshield for our failure to have a mounted front license plate.
I recognize that LAX’s parking lots are public facilities, but if LAX encourages police to write tickets for technical infractions in its lots, it should disclose that.
The next time we go out of town, we’ll park in a private lot.
