Last Call for Alcohol at USC Home Games
The decision to curtail beer sales at the Coliseum is a terrible loss of freedom for those who enjoy a cold beer as they take in the thrilling performance of our beloved Trojans. I realize that a few people take their drinking to extreme and that could potentially cause problems, but in all of my years attending games, I have never seen it as a problem. Using this rationale, I guess that our government should require all automobiles to have a top speed of 65 mph because some people drive at dangerous speeds.

Prohibiting alcohol in the Coliseum may curb unruly fan behavior, but what is USC President Steven Sample going to do to stop the off-field antics of some of the Trojan players who behave as if they are above the law?

President Sample, did you consider these options to fix the “problem?”
1. Get pot-smoking Snoop Dogg out of the USC locker room and off the sports page.
2. Use beer revenue to pay for more police to get rid of unruly fans.
