GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
* Karleigh Delong, Corona Santiago: Had 18 kills in a 25-22, 30-28, 25-22 victory over Moreno Valley Valley View in a Mountain View League game. The Sharks are ranked No. 8 in Southern Section Division I-AA.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
* Ben Cobb, Simi Valley Royal: Scored four goals in a 7-5 victory over Thousand Oaks in a Marmonte League game. Royal is ranked No. 2 in Division IV; Thousand Oaks is No. 10.
* Rory Bevins, Anaheim Servite: Had five goals, two assists and two steals for the Friars in a 13-7 victory over Montebello. Servite is ranked No. 3 in Division II. Montebello is ranked No. 1 in Division III.
* Cameron Hughes, El Segundo: Scored five goals, giving him 65 on the season, in a 24-3 victory over Culver City in an Ocean League game. El Segundo is ranked No. 2 in Division VI.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
* Geradine Jiravanichsakul, North Hills Monroe: Defeated Barbara Hernandez, 8-7 (12-10), to help Monroe to a 4-3 victory over Sylmar in a Valley Mission League match.
* Kimberly DeLeon/Christina Cunningham, North Hollywood Campbell Hall: Won the final game, 6-4, to force a tie with North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake and allow the Vikings to win on games. Campbell Hall is ranked No. 2 in Division III. Harvard-Westlake is No. 6 in Division I.
* Tania Mahtani, Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula: Improved to 30-1 on the season with a 6-3 victory over Christina Tan of Dana Hills in the Panthers’ 13-5 victory. Peninsula is ranked No. 1 in Division I; Dana Hills is No. 7.
GIRLS’ GOLF
* Faith De Guzman/Sarah Salvo, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame: Both shot two-under-par 74 to lead the Knights to first place in a six-way Mission League golf match at Woodley Lakes Golf Course.
