2 Tickets Hold Prospect of Prosperity in 2004

Wishes for a prosperous New Year came true for two lottery ticket holders from Pennsylvania and South Carolina who will share a $221.5-million jackpot from the New Year’s Eve Powerball lottery, organizers said.
Nobody had stepped forward to claim what was called the seventh-largest U.S. lottery prize.
The winning numbers were 5, 7, 18, 28, and 35. The Powerball was 1.
