GM Is Last Holdout in UAW Contract Talks

General Motors Corp. was the last holdout in contract talks in Detroit with the United Auto Workers after the union reached tentative deals with Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler Corp. that call for plant closings and thousands of job cuts.
The labor contract with the UAW expired on Sunday.
