Idaho (6-7, 2-2) at Long Beach State (1-11, 0-3) 5:30, Fox Sports Net 2 -- Will Long Beach, which has lost 10 in a row since defeating the NAIA’s Cal State Monterey Bay, beat a Division I team this season? Many Big West insiders pointed to this game three weeks ago. But despite being 2-4 on the road, Idaho has won three of its last five games, including Saturday’s 66-50 win at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Long Beach got close last week, losing at UC Riverside, 77-73, and at Cal State Fullerton, 57-53, in overtime.

Cal State Northridge (6-7, 0-3) at UC Santa Barbara (5-9, 2-2), 7, KCSN-FM (88.5), KEYT (1250) -- Northridge, in the midst of a three-game trip, has lost five in a row and is only j1-5 away from home. The Matadors lead the Big West in scoring (75.4 points) but have averaged only 56.3 points in their last three games. Santa Barbara forward Mark Hull has made 21 of his last 39 three-point attempts and has averaged 17.7 points in his last six games. Santa Barbara leads the conference in three-point shooting (39.8%).

UCLA (10-4, 5-0) at Arizona State (11-4, 3-3), 5 PST, KBET (850), KTDD (1350) -- The surprise factor of UCLA’s quick start in the Pacific 10 Conference is gone, and teams are working harder than ever to decipher the Bruins’ full-court pressure defense and contain conference scoring leader Michelle Greco. “She is doing everything,” Arizona State Coach Charli Turner Thorne said of Greco. “She can score, rebound, pass and defend.” The Sun Devils are winning with youth; freshman guard Jill Noe is averaging 15.3 points. Arizona State has won the last four games against UCLA.

USC (6-10, 1-4) at No. 22 Arizona (10-4, 4-2), 6 PST -- Losing to Washington last week dropped the Wildcats into fourth place in the Pac-10 and has them on guard. “USC is talented and dangerous,” said Arizona Coach Joan Bonvicini. “No one in conference will underestimate them.” USC doesn’t mind the respect but needs victories, having lost three in a row and eight of the last 10. Arizona has four players scoring in double figures, led by center Shawntinice Polk (18.6), one of the top freshmen in the country. And when Arizona wins, it tends to win big; seven of its 10 wins are by 21 points or more.
