2nd Blake Attorney Asks to Withdraw From Case

An attorney for actor Robert Blake asked a judge Tuesday if she could withdraw from the high-profile murder case, citing “a complete and irremediable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship.”
Jennifer L. Keller of Irvine was one of two lawyers Blake retained in late November after Harland Braun quit because Blake refused to follow his advice against giving media interviews.
Blake, who has pleaded not guilty to fatally shooting his wife in May 2001, is still represented by Thomas J. Mesereau Jr. in the criminal case.
