X Doesn’t Mark Spot for All Sports Fans

OK, so the Angels stink this year and probably deserve to be on Page 4, as they were in Wednesday’s Sports section. But a 16-year-old kid with very little fashion sense, on the front page? Spare me! SNOWBOARDING? SKATEBOARDING? X GAMES? What’s happening here?

Nobody cares about this stuff! Anybody who picks up the Sports section is interested in -- guess what -- sports. REAL SPORTS! We don’t care about pretend sports, wannabe sports or hobby interests.

I’d rather read about the Dodgers’ struggling to beat Colorado for fourth place in the Western Division. If you really find this nonsense entertaining, stick it in your Calendar section where it belongs.
