Go Green Go is a model of consistency.

A 5-year-old gelding owned and bred by Alvaro and Raul Ramirez and trained by Paul Jones, Go Green Go has won five of eight starts in 2002. In his three defeats, he was third and second twice.

With regular rider Ramon Sanchez aboard, the California-bred son of Blushing Bug will try for another victory in tonight’s eighth, a $12,550 allowance at 350 yards.

Go Green Go will leave from the outside in the field of six and post six has been kind to him. He won by 1 1/4 lengths from that post on April 4 and, a little more than three months earlier, he had won by the same margin.
