Lawsuit Defective, Not Auto Maker’s Product
Howard vs. Ford was a case of a defective lawsuit, not a defective product [“Jury Deadlocks in Multibillion-Dollar Class-Action Suit Against Ford†Nov. 19]. The personal-injury lawyers who threw this scrambled mess of baseless allegations and hypothetical harms into the legal system should not be surprised that the system spit them back.
This suit wasted the precious time of jurors and frittered away taxpayer dollars on what really amounted to a prospecting venture for fee-seeking lawyers.
