A Tub for Two

What could be more romantic than a trip to a pampering day spa with your honey? Encino’s Skin Spa is offering spa packages for couples just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“More and more we are seeing couples come in to relax together,” says Jonathan Baker, owner of Skin Spa. He offers three personalized treatments for couples only. The “spa for two” lasts about an hour and a half, and begins with a luxurious soak in the same tub with bubble bath. This is the prelude to hourlong dual massages in the same room.

For the Cadillac of a deux experiences, couples might want to indulge in the two-hour “spa romantique,” which adds an allover salt glow exfoliation, body shampoo and moisture treatment, and a facial using deep-cleansing pineapple face wash.

You can also order lunch on an outdoor terrace or coat yourselves in one of the muds offered at the spa’s “mud bar.”
