Base Plans Auction of Surplus Property
Looking for some used military clothing or some of that hard-to-find Navy-issue furniture? The Port Hueneme naval base has a deal for you.
The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office will conduct a sealed auction April 26 for surplus property ranging from tools to photographic equipment.
Bids must be submitted no later than 9 a.m. the day of the auction. Successful bidders will be notified by mail. Property must be paid for and removed by May 6.
Items for sale may be inspected Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the day of the auction from 7:30 to 9 a.m. A catalog of sale items is available in Building 513 at the base, 779 Stethem Road, or can be downloaded off the Internet at www.drms.dla.mil/catalog/Catsite.html.
