Two of the world’s most celebrated beaches, Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana and Ipanema, have been declared no-swim zones for a month because there could be raw sewage in the surf. A pipeline that normally carries the city’s sewage nearly 3 miles out to sea sprang a leak in January and has been shut down for repairs. . . . The Hog’s Breath Inn has breathed its last. The eatery in exclusive Carmel, Calif., partly owned by actor and former Mayor Clint Eastwood, closed earlier this month after nearly three decades of dishing out Dirty Harry Burgers and other fare. . . .
