Foundation Health Units Name Chief
* Janet Donaldson has been appointed chief operating officer of DentiCare of California and AVP Vision Plans in Irvine, subsidiaries of Foundation Health System Inc. Donaldson served as a consultant for DentiCare while a principal at Donaldson and Baker, a consulting firm specializing in health care-related services. From 1989 to 1995, Donaldson worked for Health Net, where she held several sales and marketing positions. Later as a consultant, Donaldson integrated the sales and marketing functions of Health Net and Foundation Health, which merged in 1998.
* Kenneth J. Yonkers has been named first vice president of investments and sales manager of Salomon Smith Barney’s Newport Beach office. Yonkers has been with the firm since 1988.
* Keith Greer has joined Cox Interactive Media’s Orange County studio as site manager for OCnow.com. Greer was most recently vice president of development for Virgin Interactive Entertainment in Irvine, a division of Viacom, and a publisher and developer of computer and video games.
* Richard M. Torre has been named vice chairman of Pacific Mercantile Bank in Newport Beach. Torre is chairman of Global Capital Markets in Irvine, which specializes in mergers, acquisitions and equity financing for mid-sized companies.
* Michael DeLeo has been appointed director, product management for interactive voice response, for the Telecommunication Systems division of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. in Irvine. DeLeo was formerly a product marketing manager with Brite Voice Systems.
* Joanne Stacknick-Peake has been selected to head the new West Coast office of RD Raab and Co., a provider of staffing services for the information technology industry. The office is in Seal Beach. Stacknick-Peake, district manager for the company, has 16 years’ experience in human resources.
* Sue Fritts has been named executive vice president for Irvine-based Fidelity National Financial Inc.’s Fidelity National Lender Express Network division. She will head up Fidelity’s credit, tax, flood and appraisal product lines. Fritts has more than 28 years’ experience in consumer credit reporting and mortgage reporting with TRW Information Services, TRW Real Estate Information, Strategic Mortgage Services and First American Real Estate Information Services. Albert G. Verkuylen was appointed senior vice president responsible for product development and the credit national sales force. Verkuylen was previously with Informative Research, First American and Cigna FIS.
* Patric L. Wiesmann has been named vice president of sales for VitalCom Inc. in Tustin. Wiesmann joined the company from Mackie Designs Inc., where he was vice president of sales and marketing and business development. Before that he was vice president of sales and marketing at Lang Manufacturing Co., and held a number of sales management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corp.
* Werner Weidemann has joined Odetics Telecom, a division of Odetics Inc. in Anaheim, as chief technology officer. He previously spent 25 years at Efratom Time and Frequency Product Inc., most recently as vice president of engineering and technology.
* Marcia Allen has joined the board of directors of Pacific Engineering Systems Inc. in Anaheim. Allen is director of corporate finance for Elite Capital, a private investment firm specializing in small-cap public companies.
* Dave Coleman has been named director of quality assurance for Scantron Corp. in Tustin. He joined the company in 1986 as quality assurance manager.
* Linton Groke has been named vice president, controller for the Centris Group Inc., a Costa Mesa provider of medical and specialty insurance lines. Before joining Centris in 1993, Groke worked with Deloitte & Touche, Loral Corp. and Ernst & Young. David Hubert was appointed vice president of administration. Hubert has managed the administrative department for the past two years. He joined Centris in 1996 as an auditor, and before that worked as director of finance, accounting and auditing for RFC Intermediaries and as an auditor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
* Patrick Cline has been appointed president of MicroMed Healthcare Information Systems Inc., a new operating division of Tustin-based Quality Systems Inc. formed by the merger of two subsidiaries, Clinitec International Inc. and MicroMed. Cline had been president of Clinitec, an executive vice president of Quality Systems, and a member of its board. Steve Puckett, who had been president of the MicroMed subsidiary and an executive vice president of Quality Systems, has been named senior vice president and product manager for the division’s software development efforts.
