Unlike the nearly fearless Indiana Jones, some people like snakes so much that they steal them. Two burglars broke into Prehistoric Pets on Brookhurst Street shortly before 1 a.m. Monday and swiped a black head python and a pair of Woma pythons, police reported.

Authorities said a witness saw two men leave the store through the rear door and flee in a white Chevrolet Astro minivan. The reptiles are worth a total of $12,000, said Sgt. Jim Perry. Police ask that anyone with information call (714) 593-4485.
