Pillow Talk and Towels of Babble

You’ve seen their catch phrases like “cranky” and “spoiled” on baby tees and camisoles. Now the L.A.-based design duo behind Loveletters Loungewear is moving into home accessories.

Since sisters Angela and Maya Mallick launched Loveletters in 1996, their clothing designs (each fashioned with a witty phrase or word) have been featured in Glamour and YM magazines and sold in the Victoria’s Secret catalog. This spring, they will be offering items for the home, including plush pillow sets with words like “yin” and “yang” and “Venus” and “Mars” as well as hand towels and washcloth sets emblazoned with “boy” and “girl”, “wet” and “dry,” “spoil me,” “tickle me” and more.

The pillow and towel sets are designed as accessories for a new line of all-cotton men’s style pajamas and boxers for women.

“People are spending more time at home these days, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to be comfortable and stylish,” Angela Mallick says. “We want to make their home experience fun by offering these small indulgences.”
