WESTMINSTER
Former Laker star Jamaal Wilkes will speak at Westminster High School on Friday on the importance of hard work and overcoming challenges. Wilkes, an NBA all-star who played on three world championship teams, is now a sports/financial business consultant active in philanthropy. He is speaking at the school as part of the GTE Corp.’s Life’s Playbook Program, which brings people who have achieved success in athletics and academics to talk with students.
