Volunteers are needed to help plant trees at El Rancho Verde Park on April 24, which the city is celebrating as Arbor Day and Volunteer Connection Day. Residents are asked to come to the Moody Street park by 10 a.m. to help plant trees, shrubs and flowers to complete the park’s renovation. The city is also asking for cash donations by April 20 to buy the materials. Information: (714) 522-6740.
