Officials Identify Woman in Possible Murder-Suicide
A woman who was killed in a possible murder-suicide earlier this week was identified by the coroner’s office Saturday.
Sandra Violet Ferguson, 49, of North Hollywood was found by police earlier this week at a home in the 12100 block of Oxnard Street, said Lt. Cheryl MacWillie of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Ferguson’s death was caused by multiple injuries from a sharp object, said MacWillie.
The body of a man, who is the possible murder suspect, was also found at the home Tuesday.
He died from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, MacWillie said. The 55-year-old North Hollywood man’s name was not released pending notification of relatives.
