Ice Dogs Win Fourth in a Row

The Ice Dogs got goals from Sean Tallaire and Jason Podollan to defeat the Houston Aeros, 2-0, Friday night in an International Hockey League game before 3,233 at the Long Beach Arena.
It was the fourth straight win for the Ice Dogs (47-25-4), who moved within two points of the Chicago Wolves for the second first-round playoff bye in the Western Conference.
Manny Legace stopped 28 shots for the Ice Dogs, who got both their goals in the second period.
