When Japanese investors began buying up high-profile U.S. buildings, hotels and country clubs during the 1980s, the Japan bashers were crying, “They’re buying up America!”
Today the Japanese investors are starting to sell off their “trophy” real estate holdings [“Shuwa’s High-End Real Estate Portfolio Draws Big Players,” Oct. 13].
The ecstatic Japan bashers must be gleefully crying, “They’re giving America back!”
