Navarro turned pro in 1996 and won the WBU title last February with a 12-round decision over Nicky Bentz. Navarro, who has 13 knockouts, won the California junior-featherweight title in 1997. Badillo is 15-4 with four knockouts. The fight will be televised live on Telemundo.
