Tennis Tournament for Seniors Opens

The Senior 140 tournament, which features doubles teams with players’ ages adding up to 140, will begin at 1 today at the Park Newport Tennis Club in Newport Beach.

Bob Howe, 75, who is the only player to compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for 16 consecutive years at Wimbledon, is scheduled to play for Newport Beach Tennis Club, which plays Balboa Bay Club Racquet Club today.
