3 Convicted in 1995 Killing of Couple
From Times Wire Reports
Three men were convicted in the killing of a wealthy couple whose bodies were dismembered, put in 55-gallon drums and buckets and left at roadsides. The 1995 slayings of Frank Griga, 33--who made a $10-million fortune in 900-phone-sex numbers--and his girlfriend, Krisztina Furton, 23, were called among the most gruesome murders prosecutors in Miami have seen. Jurors found Adrian Noel Doorbal, 24; Daniel Lugo, 32; and John Carl Mese, 59; guilty of a long list of charges, from first-degree murder to money laundering and forgery.
