Ice Dogs in First-Place Tie

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — John Byce scored two goals, and Sean Tallaire scored what proved to be the game-winner as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Kansas City Blades, 4-2, Wednesday night at the Kemper Arena.
The win moved the Ice Dogs (20-8-0) into a tie with the Houston Aeros (18-3-4) for first place overall in the Southwest Division of the IHL.
The Ice Dogs have two days off after their seven-game, 13-day trip and will be back in action Saturday at home against Las Vegas.
The Ice Dogs also improved to 17-1-0 when scoring the first goal this season.
