Volunteer Festival
More than 200 Valley organizations are set to participate Saturday in the city’s first Volunteer Festival. “Volunteers are the angels of our city,” Mayor Richard Riordan said in announcing the event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cal State Northridge and three other L.A. sites.
