Bergen Brunswig to Buy Vaccine Supplier
ORANGE — A Bergen Brunswig Corp. subsidiary has agreed to acquire Cincinnati-based Besse Medical Services Inc., a leading supplier of vaccines, for an undisclosed amount.
Privately held Besse, which generated revenue of about $50 million for fiscal 1997, would be acquired by Bergen subsidiary ASD, which distributes specialty pharmaceutical products to the physician, clinic and acute care markets.
