Outlook: The Sailors’ losses from last season are enormous--league co-most valuable player Wes Badorek (6-6) in the middle as well as first-team all-league opposite Cameron Black (6-1) and second-team all-league outside hitter Matt Caldwell (6-2). Nelson, one of the best setters in the county, is the only returning starter. He will count on a group of youngsters who led the Newport Harbor junior varsity team to the league title last season.
