Broken Finger Will Keep Boston’s Donato Out 2 Weeks

Boston Bruin left wing and second-leading scorer Ted Donato, who has 25 goals and 47 points, will sit out the next two weeks because of a broken index finger.
Donato broke the finger when he was slashed in Sunday’s game against the Florida Panthers.

The New Jersey Devils said center Doug Gilmour is expected to return to the ice tonight against the Hartford Whalers after missing three games because of an eye injury.
Gilmour, who was struck in his left eye with a puck in New Jersey’s March 5 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
